Only 8 weeks to go to the biggest beer festival of the year in West Sussex. Over 100 beers, 8 local brewer stands and 30 ciders / perries and a gin / wine bar this year for those non beer drinkers. Tickets available from the pubs listed or from the Connaught Theatre box office www.worthingtheatres.co.uk. Friday night is always a busy night and last year we sold out tickets for this session, so don’t delay.
The 21st CAMRA Worthing Beer Festival takes place on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st October 2017 and will be held at Assembly Hall in central Worthing for the second consecutive year following the success of last year’s event.
Session times and pricing are shown below:
Friday 20th October, 11am – 4pm (£5.00)
Friday 20th October, 5pm – 11pm (£5.00)
Saturday 21st October, 11am – 4pm (£5.00)
Saturday 21st October, 5pm – 11pm (£2.00)
CAMRA Arun & Adur are determined to make this year even better and so there will be more real ale, cider and perry than last year and the hugely popular Sussex brewer stands will be featuring again with some familiar faces returning along with some exciting new faces. The real ale selection will again be chosen by Nick Little, previous owner of Brooksteed Alehouse that won Sussex & Surrey Pub of the Year last year, so that promises to be extremely good. The cider and perry selection will again be chosen by the lovely Debbi Pilkington of Ale in a Tent who did such a great job last year.
Existing CAMRA members will receive £2.50 (minimum) of free beer tokens on presentation of a valid CAMRA membership card. This effectively makes the Saturday evening session FREE!!!
The 21st CAMRA Worthing Beer Festival will be raising money for Worthing based Guild Care (charity no. 1044658) who deliver innovative and life-changing care services which help older people, younger people with special needs, those with a dementia or a learning difficulty, and their carers, to share and enjoy a richer family and community life. See their website at www.guildcare.org.
The Worthing Beer Festival is organised and run by the Arun and Adur branch of CAMRA.
